What is the ICS and
its purpose?
The ICS is a seminar
offered by the RR District Staff which certifies qualified
Royal Ranger (RR) Commanders to become SPLAD Certified
Instructors (CI ).
Commanders which obtain CI status
will be eligible to teach other RR Commanders any of the
LTA Modules which he/she has taken previously. This
certification is valid for up to 2 years which will then
require renewal every two years afterwards.
The purpose of the ICS is
to train and certify Commanders to teach Leadership
Training Academy (LTA) Modules to other commanders. We
believe that training is the foundation of every
successful outpost. LTA Modules can be taught within local
areas to help enhance the ministry and train commanders
more effectively to Reach, Teach &
Keep Boys for Christ!

interested first-time CI candidates are encouraged to
